How to View Online Competitor Pricing in Otto

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Click the Products tab (box icon) in the left-hand sidebar.

2. In the Products table, locate the Competition column.

   • This column is only visible to clinics on the Otto Premium plan.

   • If you do not see this column, confirm your subscription level.

3. Review the competitor pricing listed for each product.

   • In the United States, competitor pricing is sourced from 1-800 Contacts.

   • In Canada, competitor pricing is sourced from Clearly.ca.

   • Prices are updated daily to reflect current online listings.

4. Compare your clinic’s price (shown in the Price column) with the competitor price shown in the Competition column.

5. Look for any pricing alerts or warnings.

   • Otto may flag products where your price appears significantly higher or lower than the competitor.

   • These alerts are intended to help you stay competitive while protecting profitability.

You can adjust your pricing at any time by editing the value directly in the Price column or by clicking into the product to update volume pricing.

• Competitor pricing is based on publicly available online prices and updates daily.

• Pricing alerts are informational and do not automatically change your pricing.

• You maintain full control over your product pricing at all times.

• This feature is designed as a reference tool and does not account for rebates, promotions, or insurance adjustments.

When to Contact Support

• If the Competition column is missing and you believe you are on Otto Premium.

• If competitor pricing appears incorrect or outdated.

• If pricing warnings seem inconsistent with current market pricing.
