How to Request a New Product Not in Otto’s Master Database

Learn how to request a product that is not currently available in Otto’s Available Products list so it can be reviewed and added to the system.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Click Products (box icon) in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Click Add Products at the top of the page.

  3. Conduct a quick search to ensure the product does not already exist in the Master Database.
  4. If it does not already exist, select Request a Product.

  5. In the Product Name field, enter the full name of the product.

    • Be as specific as possible (brand, modality, pack size, etc.).

  6. Enter your desired Retail Price.

    • This is the price you intend to charge patients.

  7. Paste a link to the product from a supplier or manufacturer website.

    • This helps the Otto team verify product details quickly.

    • Use a direct product page whenever possible.

  8. Click Send Request.

Your request will be submitted for review.


What Happens Next

  • Otto will review the request and verify the product details.

  • Once approved, the product will be added to the master database and to your catalog.


Important Notes

  • Always search for the product in Available Products before submitting a request. Many products are already in the database and simply need to be added to your catalogue.

  • Incomplete product names or missing links may delay processing.

  • Pricing entered during the request can be adjusted later in your catalogue.


When to Contact Support

  • If the product is urgent and needed for an active patient order.

  • If you do not see the product appear after a reasonable review period.

  • If you are unsure whether the product already exists in Otto.
