How to Configure Shipping Fees for Eye Drop Ship Orders
Learn how to create or update a shipping rule specifically for Eye Drop Ship orders so you can pass through shipping costs or offer free shipping based on your clinic’s preferences.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Navigate to Shipping Settings

Click the gear icon (Settings) in the left-hand sidebar.

Click Shipping.
You will see a list of your current shipping rules.
2. Review Existing Shipping Rules

Review your current rules in the list.

Use the toggle switch to enable or disable a rule.

Click on any existing rule to edit it.
If you do not already have a rule specific to Eye Drop Ship, you will need to create one.
3. Create a New Shipping Rule

Click New Rule in the top-right corner.

Enter a Name for the rule (e.g., “Eye Drop Ship $10”).
4. Add a Supplier Condition

Click + Add Condition.

In the first dropdown, select Supplier.

In the second dropdown, select Equal To.

In the value field, select Eye Drop Ship.
This ensures the rule only applies to orders fulfilled through Eye Drop Ship.
5. Enter the Shipping Fee

In the Fee field, enter the amount you want to charge.

Example:
$10.00to pass through your cost. -
You may enter a different amount if you prefer.

You can also:

Add additional conditions if you want to offer free shipping above a certain order value.

Choose whether to Charge Tax on Shipping.

Check Include office shipments if you also want this fee applied to orders shipped to your clinic.
6. Save the Rule

Click Create Rule.

Review your other shipping rules to ensure there is no overlap.
If multiple rules apply to the same order conditions, unexpected shipping charges may occur.
Important Notes

Shipping rules are evaluated based on their conditions. Overlapping rules may result in incorrect fees.

You can create multiple Eye Drop Ship rules (e.g., free shipping over $100).

Most clinics pass the supplier shipping cost directly to the patient, but you can adjust this based on your pricing strategy.

Office shipments are not automatically included unless you select Include office shipments.
