How to Mirror 90-Pack Pricing for Products Only Available in 30-Packs

Learn how to set up pricing in Otto so that a 30-pack product reflects your intended 90-pack pricing structure. This ensures consistent margins and accurate quotes when suppliers only offer 30-pack SKUs.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Products Module

  1. Click the box icon (Products) in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Locate the 30-pack product you want to update.

  3. Click the product name to open the detailed product view.

Step 2: Calculate Your 90-Pack Equivalent Price

If your supplier only offers 30-packs but you want pricing to reflect a 90-pack supply:

  • Multiply your desired per-box retail price by 3 (since 3 x 30-packs = 90 lenses).

  • Determine your target retail price for a 90-pack equivalent

You will apply this pricing using volume pricing.

Step 3: Set Volume Pricing

  1. Inside the product detail view, locate the Volume Pricing section.

  2. Click Add Volume Price.

  3. Create a pricing tier:

    • Quantity: 3 boxes

    • Price: Enter the total retail price that reflects your intended 90-pack price.

This ensures:

  • Patients ordering 3 boxes receive the correct 90-pack pricing.

  • Quotes accurately reflect your annual or multi-box discounts.

  • Rebate logic aligns with intended supply tiers.

Step 4: Review Quotes

  1. Create a Quote for a patient using this product.

  2. Select a 3-box supply.

  3. Confirm:

    • The correct tiered price appears.

    • Any rebate eligibility displays properly.

Adjust as needed.

Important Notes

  • Volume pricing must be set manually for each applicable product.

  • If you update base pricing later, review your volume tiers to keep them aligned.
