How to Find Order Tracking Details

Learn how to locate tracking information for a patient’s order in the Orders module. This is useful when a patient asks about shipping status or delivery updates.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Click “Orders” in the left-hand sidebar.
    This will open your Orders table.

  2. Adjust the filters to locate the order.

    • By default, the table may show Open Orders.

    • If you do not see the order, change the Status filter to All Orders.

    • You can also search using the order number or patient name.

  3. Expand the order row.

    • Click the down arrow (v) on the left side of the order line.

    • This will expand the order details within the table.

  4. Review the tracking information.

    • Tracking details will appear on the right-hand side of the expanded order row, where available.

    • You may also see the supplier confirmation number, which can be used to check status directly on the supplier’s website if needed.


Important Notes

  • Tracking details are only visible once they have been provided by the supplier.

  • Some suppliers may not provide tracking for certain shipments.

  • If an order was shipped directly to the patient, it may automatically show as Complete in Otto.

  • For delayed or missing shipments, use the supplier confirmation number to verify status on the supplier’s website.


When to Contact Support

  • If tracking information should be available but is missing.

  • If the order status appears incorrect.

  • If you are unable to locate the order after adjusting filters.

If the issue persists or the order has already been sent to the supplier, please submit a support ticket so our team can investigate further.
