# Custom Messages for Patient Receipts & Lens Quotes
## Otto allows you to add custom messaging to your patient receipts and Lens Quotes.
This is a simple way to reinforce your clinic’s brand, highlight promotions, or remind patients about the value of purchasing directly from your clinic.

### Custom Message – Patient Receipts
Add a message that will automatically appear at the bottom of all patient receipts generated through Otto.
#### How to Add a Receipt Message
1. Go to [**Settings**](https://app.ottooptics.io/settings/).
2. You'll land on the **Business Information** page.
3. Scroll down to the **Receipt Message** field.
4. Enter the message you'd like patients to see.
5. Save your changes.
##### Ideas for Your Receipt Message
- Your return policy
- Your business tag line /brand promise
Your custom message will now automatically appear at the bottom of patient receipts when they purchase through Otto.

### Custom Message – Lens Quotes
You can also add a custom sales message that appears on **every Lens Quote** you generate.
This is a great opportunity to reinforce why patients should purchase directly from your clinic—especially when they're comparing your pricing with online retailers.
#### How to Add a Sales Message
1. Go to [**Settings**](https://app.ottooptics.io/settings/).
2. You'll land on the **Business Information** page.
3. Scroll down to the **Sales Message** field.
4. Enter the message you'd like patients to see.
5. Save your changes.
##### Ideas for Your Sales Message
- “Thanks for supporting local, small business!”
- “Free shipping available on all orders.”
- Highlight a current promotion or special offer.
- Reinforce the benefits of purchasing directly from your clinic.
Once configured, your message will automatically appear on every Lens Quote you generate.
